About me

I'm a 30-year-old translator from Kragujevac, Serbia who LOVES languages and translation, savouring on every challenge and elegant solution he can come up with. I am proud of my degree in English Language and Literature which gave me sound basis for further development of my knowledge and skills. I have always shown strong inclination towards translating, and I started my career while still at University (year 2000), doing some part-time translation and interpreting for local NGOs and private clients. After graduation I worked as translator at the Faculty of Law in Kragujevac and, since 2006, I am employed full-time as a translator as well as a freelancer on various projects. My passion are computers and related technologies: I am founder of the Free Software Network Serbia and chief translator of Serbian portal at Free Software Foundation Europe website. I have high hopes for the future and am dedicated to constant improvement.

Qualifications

Nine years of experience in translation, both as a freelancer and employed translator. Member-to-be of Serbian Association of Scientific and Technical Translators, located in Belgrade, Serbia.
